We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a globally re-noun organisation. Based in Verdal Norway, this 1 year project will see you working within a collaborative and knowledgable team.

The ideal candidate will play an integral part of the team responsible for assisting the project delivery and handover. You will have experience within Oil & Gas projects. This position is due to start at the end of October.

Responsibilities:

  • All Quantity Surveying duties to include: conduct, coordinate and control contractor activities. Ensuring work completed complies with specification. Reporting, inspecting, measuring and recording works progress. Completing claims ensuring compliance and approval. Handover and verification for all works
  • Be a collaborative, strong team player confident with working at all levels and respectful of different cultures
  • Excellent Communicator working with procurement, logistics, safety, project teams and third parties as required
  • As a highly organised person you will be used to managing tight deadlines, and problem solving with an eye for detail
  • Assist with management team to ensure project success (time, budget and cost)
  • Ensure the project is moving forward to meet the anticipated deadlines
  • Responsible for documentation, reporting and contractor claims
  • Flexibility and drive to get stuck in and get the job completed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience.
  • Min of 3 years' of experience as a quantity surveyor with oil/gas/rigging projects.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English - Strong experience in documentation analysis, review and reporting.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
  • Legal rights to work in Europe - due to the location of the project location.
