Our Story So Far
Select was founded in 2013 by Mike Tann and Ryan Burville with the backing of Select Engineering, a well-established and trusted engineering recruitment agency. Mike and Ryan both landed work within the oil and gas industry, seeing the complexities, demands and evolution of the energy sector first-hand. This experience opened their eyes to the scale and shift in requirements about to come for the industry, placing them as experts to support candidates and clients alike.
The team at Select has been built on Mike and Ryan’s vision to position ourselves as professional problem-solvers rather than recruiters. We have become a leading talent provider in key areas, including renewable energy, marine, subsea and power generation. We are continuing to expand our global presence, offering tailored support to professionals and projects across Europe, the US, Africa, the Middle East, and APAC.
