Select Offshore are looking to fill the below opportunity.

Job title: Chief Engineer 

Location: UK 

Start Date: Start of June 

Duration: 6 week rotations

Requirements:
  • STCW III/2 – Chief Engineer Officer (Unlimited or appropriate for vessel class)

  • Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates

  • ENG1 (or equivalent) medical certificate

  • Designated Security Duties (DSD) certification

  • High Voltage (Management level preferred)

  • DP Maintenance Certificate (desirable, depending on vessel operations)

  • Relevant UK work eligibility

  • Proven experience as Chief Engineer or senior engineering officer onboard offshore vessels

  • Extensive experience on jack-up vessels or similar offshore units

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Strong background in:

  • Diesel-electric power generation systems

  • High-voltage electrical systems

  • Hydraulic and jacking systems (essential)

  • Experience supporting offshore windfarm operations (highly desirable)

  • Familiarity with DP systems (where applicable)


Additional info:

Vessel: Jack-Up Barge (Offshore Windfarm Operations)
Location: UK Waters (must hold a British Passport or valid UK work permit)
Reports To: Master / Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)
Rotations: 6 weeks on/off

Annual salary: £80,000
