Job Title: Commissioning Lead Site Manager (Onshore)
Location: U.S. East Coast – Port-Based Site
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 12–14 months (until February 2027)
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off


Role Overview:
Select Offshore is seeking experienced and driven Lead Site Managers to oversee the commissioning phase of a major offshore wind project, based at a U.S.-based pre-installation port. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of all onshore commissioning activities.

You will lead multiple teams of technicians and subcontractors, coordinate both pre-commissioning and offshore commissioning interfaces, and ensure the energization of wind turbines and electrical systems is carried out safely and in full compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day commissioning operations at the onshore pre-installation port

  • Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Oversee energization of wind turbines and electrical systems

  • Lead teams of technicians and subcontractors across multiple scopes

  • Ensure strong HSE performance and promote a safety-first culture

  • Act as the primary onshore interface with clients, vendors, and stakeholders

  • Manage risk, track progress, and control on-site commissioning budgets

  • Provide daily progress reports and updates to project leadership

  • Prepare documentation required for successful handover to Service teams


Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in wind turbine commissioning or large-scale energy projects

  • Strong background in electrical systems, turbine commissioning, and energization protocols

  • Skilled in planning, reporting, and contractor management

  • Deep understanding of HSE standards and quality systems

  • Experience coordinating with client representatives and OEMs

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Offshore wind or major renewable project experience preferred
