Job Title: HSE Coordinator Pre-Installation
Location: U.S. East Coast – Port-Based Site
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 12–14 months (until February 2027)
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off

Role Overview:
Select Offshore is seeking multiple HSE Coordinators to support a major offshore wind project during the pre-installation phase at a U.S.-based port site. This is a key position for ensuring that all operations are carried out in a safe and compliant manner, in line with both client and legislative standards.

As a vital member of the on-site team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental procedures while fostering a strong safety culture across the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures on site

• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits

• Promote and maintain a safety-first culture among all contractors and personnel

• Ensure compliance with Vestas’ HSE policies as well as local regulations

• Support the development and delivery of site-specific HSE training and inductions

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and support root cause analysis

• Report regularly on HSE performance and recommend improvements

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure all tasks are executed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous HSE experience on energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects

• Relevant HSE qualifications/certifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. HSE legislation and offshore wind safety standards

• Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

• Proven ability to build and maintain a positive safety culture

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Prior experience with international energy firms or contractors is preferred
