Location: U.S. East Coast – Port-Based Site
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 12–14 months (until February 2027)
Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Role Overview:
Select Offshore is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Paint & Fiber Supervisor (also referred to as Blade Supervisor) to join the pre-installation team for a major offshore wind project. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that painting and blade-related tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor activities and ensuring that all work related to blades, towers, and nacelles is prepared for successful load out. The role will involve close coordination with the Pre-Installation Site Manager and requires a strong understanding of technical documentation, safety protocols, and QA/QC procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all paint, fiber, and blade-related operations during the pre-installation phase

Ensure subcontractors are properly briefed, trained, and resourced

Oversee and report on the preparation of blades for load out

Maintain and distribute relevant technical documentation for painting and blade tasks

Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards

Monitor progress and performance of subcontractors

Identify areas for process improvement across safety, quality, and operational efficiency

Communicate regularly with the Pre-Installation Site Manager on scope updates and risks
Requirements:

Strong experience in blade, tower, or nacelle painting and composite repair within the wind sector

Previous supervisory experience overseeing subcontractor teams

Good understanding of technical documentation and quality control standards

Familiarity with blade handling, preparation, and load out processes

Strong commitment to HSE compliance and improvement

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Offshore wind, port logistics, or OEM experience is highly desirable
